James (Jimmy) Ramond Larson 

Born April 23, 1948 in St. Paul, MN.  He attended Richfield High School and graduated in 1966.  In 1970, he started officiating with MHOA and by his third year he was a board member.  He held the President position for three years and then became assignor for several decades.  He worked in the WCHA and MIAC, including 4 Championship games.  Jimmy received many awards during his officiating career including; Lake Conference Coaches Award, Lake Conference Athletic Directors Award, and a Region 1 Life Time Award.  During Jimmy’s time with MHOA the association grew tremendously in officials numbers, and with more games from several additional leagues.
